Time Machine Tours offers unique San Francisco experiences: two trips into San Francisco history with Emperor Norton’s Fantastic San Francisco Time Machine, and two culinary adventures with San Francisco Food Safari, and a bawdy trip through the Barbary Coast and Chinatown with the Countess Lola Montez via Drag Me Along Tours.

Emperor Norton\'s Fantastic San Francisco Time Machine is a lively, informative, and entertaining walking tour of historic San Francisco led by Emperor Norton I, Emperor of the United States and Protector of Mexico.Emperor Norton\'s Fantastic San Francisco Time Machine departs Thursdays & Saturdays at 11 a.m. and 2:30 p.m. from Union Square (meet under the Dewey Monument statue and covers the history of downtown, the financial district, the Barbary Coast and Chinatown. Emperor Norton’s Fantastic Waterfront Time Machine tells the tales of the waterfront and meets every Sunday at 11 a.m. in front of the Ferry Building.

On San Francisco Food Safari, Chef Joseph offers his knowledge and insights as guests scout out the best of each neighborhood\'s food scene. Pick up culinary treasures along the way to enjoy afterwards. Both tours include a voluminous printed guide. Culinary Gems of North Beach is every Friday at 11 a.m., departing from Washington Square.Scout out North Beach’s best delis, coffee houses, bakeries and meat markets. Learn about North Beach’s history, and pick up sandwiches, candy and snacks along the way.

There\'s More to the Mission Than Burritos departs every Wednesday at 11 a.m., from the 24th St. Mission BART Plaza, northeast corner.Embark on a journey of Mission and Valencia Street\'s best restaurants and markets. Visit pop-up restaurants, markets, delis, and learn why this area has emerged as San Francisco\'s most intriguing culinary scene.

Drag Me Along Tours is an adults-only romp through San Francisco’s seedier side with the Countess Lola Montez. All tours last approximately 2.75 hours and are 2.5 miles long. Advance reservations requested. Cost is $20 per person and is subject to availability.
