Featured Work

San Francisco: Legends, Heroes and Heartthrobs

The book consists of 47 short stories about well-known San Franciscans including historic figures, artists, politicians, writers, athletes and musicians.  Audiences are familiar with most of the people in the book but generally not aware of the story I tell.  Separate presentations have been developed for James Rolph and Alice Marble and I can readily work up a presentation for anyone else in the book.  Each story in the book is accompanied by a full-page illustration of the subject by a local artist.

You can purchase your very own copy of San Francisco: Legends, heroes and Heartthrobs from the author’s favorite independent bookseller, Folio Books in Noe Valley.
