San Francisco Cable Car Museum
The Cable Car Museum was founded in 1967 and located in the Washington-Mason historic car barn and powerhouse. A nonprofit group, the directors of the museum have a mission to keep alive the wonderful history of the cable car system in San Francisco and raise awareness among locals and visitors of the importance of the system, past and present.
